Meanwhile, the tournament is scheduled to begin on May 26. “Yes, Nayar is being roped in as the team mentor. A formal announcement in this regard will be made next week,” a reliable source told TOI. That is not it. Former India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey will be the head coach of ARCS Andheri.
High-Profile Players to Also Participate
Ex-India team masseur Ramesh Mane will be Andheri masseur. Mumbai domestic head coach Omkar Salvi will be the head coach for SoBo Mumbai Falcons. Former IPL star Pravin Tambe will be the head coach of North Mumbai Panthers. Assistant coach of Vidarbha, Atul Ranade will be the head coach for Triumph Knights Mumbai North East.
The third edition of the T20 Mumbai League will also see some of the top players. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has already confirmed that Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Sarfaraz Khan, Tushar Deshpande and Prithvi Shaw will be the icon players, the faces of the tournament.
