Ο Mriti Mandhana έσπασε τον ταχύτερο ινδικό αιώνα WODI σε μόλις 70 μπάλες κόντρα στην Ιρλανδία.
India’s star opener Smriti Mandhana delivered a masterclass in aggressive batting. She smashed the fastest century by an Indian batter in WODIs off just 70 balls against Ireland. Her knock put India in a strong position, 202/0 in just 24 overs, leaving the opposition bowlers running for answers. Mandhana put on the record with a stunning cover drive for four off Arlene Kelly, followed by a towering six that brought the crowd to its feet. A misfield at Cow Corner soon added another boundary, showing Ireland’s struggles on the field.
Double-century partnership with Pratika
Partnering with Pratika Rawal, Mandhana capitalised on the powerplay to set the tone for India’s innings both of them crossed the 200 run mark. The duo maintained a relentless run rate, exploiting gaps with ease. While Pratika’s deft flicks and drives kept the scoreboard ticking, Mandhana’s ability to find the fence at will dismantle the Irish bowling attack.

Smriti Mandhana broke Harmanpreet Kaur’s record for the fastest century by an Indian batter in Women’s ODIs. Harmanpreet had previously scored a century off 87 balls against South Africa in 2024. Mandhana achieved the milestone in just 70 balls against Ireland.
