Το CSK δεν ήταν ποτέ σε αναζήτηση και ο μόνος λόγος για τον οποίο το πλήθος εξακολουθούσε να κρατάει ήταν να δει ένα Bat Ms Dhoni
MS Dhoni gave the Chepauk crowd something to cheer about even as Chennai Super Kings lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore at home for the first time since 2008.
A vintage Dhoni turned back the clock to score 30 at a strike-rate of 187.50 in an innings studded with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Dhoni’s treat for CSK fans
The CSK fans were perhaps a little disappointed that Dhoni came in to bat even after R Ashwin, who despite his Test batting feats, has rarely set the T20 format on fire with the bat.
Set 197, CSK were totally outplayed by a determined RCB unit which was led brilliantly by Rajat Patidar.
The RCB skipper scored a fifty while Phil Salt and Devdutt Padikkal played combative cameos before Josh Hazlewood broke the back of the Chennai chase with two wickets in his first over.
CSK were never in the chase and the only reason the crowd still hung around was to see MS Dhoni bat and the legend gave them some paisa vasool moments.

Earlier in the evening, MS Dhoni was quick as ever with the gloves behind the stumps to dismiss Phil Salt – completing a stumping in just 0.16 seconds.
With the bat, Dhoni hit Josh Hazlewood for two fours and then hit Krunal Pandya for two sixes in the final over even though RCB were already assured of victory.
MS Dhoni finished with 30 not out off 16 balls and CSK fans would hope for an encore from their hero when they travel to Guwahati to face the Rajasthan Royals.
